Hello and welcome!
It’s good to have you here.
Let me introduce both myself and this publication.
First, hi, I’m Megan Raposa — a longtime journalist
and lifelong South Dakotan committed to keeping
local news in Sioux Falls under local ownership.
That’s why I started Sioux Falls Simplified last year
to make it easy for you to feel smart about the forces
that shape our community.
This right here is the inaugural Simplified Welcome
Guide. Let me break it down for you.
This is a primer for all things Sioux Falls. Think of
it as a CliffsNotes for the city (for those of us who
